Manual Description
In this section you'll find information about, when the ignition is switched on, you can display different types of information instrument, buttons on the windshield wiper lever operate the menus instrument cluster, the number of menus in the instrument cluster display depends on the electronics equipment.

An authorized Volkswagen dealer or an authorized Volkswagen Service Facility may be able add, modify functions depending your vehicle's equipment, some menu items can only be accessed when the vehicle not moving, as long as a priority 1 warning message is displayed, no menus can be accessed.

The instrument cluster display is divided into 3 parts, ø - mpg (average fuel consumption),  - miles (fuel range estimate), - miles (trip memory 1 2).

- km (current fuel consumption), ø - km (average fuel consumption),  - km (fuel range estimate), - km (trip memory 1 2).

The instrument cluster displays are controlled by the  button, fuel gauge, Indicator lights and fuel gauge, the TRI P rocker switch (2) on the end of the windshield wiper lever, — -:-: Travel time since last reset of trip memories 1 2.

▪ Push the  button to toggle between two time figures, ø - mpg: Average fuel consumption of trips per trip memories 1 2, ▪ Push the  button to toggle between two figures, i - mi: Estimated distance you can drive with the fuel remaining tank.

Trip memory (single trip memory) and trip memory 2 (total trip memory), ▪ Push the  button (1) on the windshield wiper arm to toggle between trip memories 1 2, ▪ Push and hold the  button to reset a trip memory zero, and controlled using thebutton to the right of the instrument panel ⇒ fig.

Ø - mph: Average speed on trips per trip memories 1 2, ▪ Push the  button on the windshield wiper arm to toggle between two average speed, - mph: Digital display current vehicle speed, ¢ - mph: Speed warning feature.

▪ Push the  button to toggle between - mph (speed warning disabled) xx mph, ▪ A warning chime will sound you if you reach the set speed; there may also be visual message, ▪ The set speed will blink for a few seconds after you toggle xx mph, rocker switch while the set speed is blinking to increase decrease speed.

- km: Current fuel consumption, ø - km: Average fuel consumption of trips per trip memories 1 2,  - km: Estimated distance you can drive with the fuel remaining tank, and controlled using the  button to the right of the instrument panel ⇒ fig.

Ø - km/h: Average speed on trips per trip memories 1 2, - km/h: Digital display current vehicle speed,  - km/h: Speed warning feature, push the  button to toggle between - km/h (speed warning disabled) xx km/h.

A warning chime will sound you if you reach the set speed; there may also be visual message, the set speed will blink for a few seconds after you toggle xx km/h, the instrument cluster display has 2 automatic memories: 1 – single trip memory and 2 – total trip.
