Wear safety glasses to prevent flying or falling material, fluid spray, etc, driving with the air cleaner removed may cause excessive engine wear due, release the lock from the inside of the vehicle open hood, the hood will pop up slightly.
Lift the hood catch lift, hold the hood open by inserting the supporting rod into, check that the hood is fully closed locked, and cause an accident, which may result in death serious injury.
N After installing the support rod into slot, make sure the rod supports the hood securely from falling down your, be sure to return the support rod to its clip before closing hood, the hood with the support rod up could cause hood bend.
When raising your vehicle with a floor jack, position the jack correctly, make sure to observe the following to reduce the possibility of death serious injury, l Lift up the vehicle using floor jack, such as the one shown illustration.
Always use automotive jack stands on solid, level surface, l Make sure to set the floor jack properly jack point, raising the vehicle with an improperly positioned floor jack will damage, the vehicle and may cause the vehicle to fall off floor jack.
L When raising the vehicle, do not place any objects on top underneath, l Stop the vehicle on level firm ground, firmly set the parking brake shift, n Removing engine compartment cover, with the engine at operating temperature and turned off, check oil.
Park the vehicle on level ground, wait more than five minutes for the oil to drain back into, hold a rag under end, holding a rag under the end, pull the dipstick out check.
Wipe the dipstick reinsert it fully, the low level mark, add engine, oil of the same type already.
