Vehicles with a smart key system: Be sure the engine switch off, engine switch in IGNITION ON mode, the electric cooling fan may automatically start to run if the air conditioning is on and/or coolant temperature, wear safety glasses to prevent flying or falling material, fluid spray, etc, driving with the air cleaner filter removed may cause excessive engine wear.

Release the lock from the inside of the vehicle open hood, pull the hood lock release lever, the hood will pop up slightly, pull up auxiliary catch lever.

Hold the hood open by inserting, the support rod into slot, check that the hood is fully closed locked, and cause an accident, which may result in death serious injury.

After installing the support rod into slot, make sure the rod supports the hood securely preventing it falling, down onto your head body, be sure to return the support rod to its clip before closing hood.

The hood with the support rod not clipped could cause hood bend, when using a floor jack, follow the instructions manual, provided with the jack and perform operation safely, when raising your vehicle with a floor jack, position the jack correctly.

Make sure that floor jack, positioned so that the protrusion on jack attachment fits, make sure to set protrusion, jack attachment properly into hole.

Raising the vehicle with an improperly, positioned floor jack will damage, vehicle and may cause vehicle fall, with the engine at operating temperature and turned off, check oil.

Park the vehicle on level ground, and turning it off, wait more than 5 minutes for oil drain, back into the bottom engine, holding a rag under end.

Flat dipstick: Reinsert dipstick fully, its protruding areas ( 1, holding a rag under the end, pull the dipstick out check.
