Manual Description

The engine is designed to operate using unleaded gasoline, if unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 91 AKI (95 RON) is not available, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 AKI (90 RON) higher, for the checking, adding and replacing procedure or other details, refer Engine oil” F11-9, the procedure for changing the engine oil and oil filter should be performed by a properly-trained expert.
That you have this service performed by your SUBARU dealer, always use the SUBARU approved engine oil, if the approved engine oil is unavailable, use the alternative engine oil described next page, if the SUBARU approved oil is unavailable, the following alternative oil can be used.
Each quantity indicated here is only a guideline, – Adding the oil from L F level, for optimum engine performance and – Changing the oil oil filter, used if synthetic oil unavailable.
*: If synthetic oil not available, be used if replenishment needed but, should be changed 0W-20 synthetic, optimum engine performance and pro- – Changing the oil oil filter.
Should be changed 5W-30 synthetic, & Manual transmission, front differential and rear differential gear oil, for the checking procedure, or other details, refer to Manual transmission oil” F11-19, Front differential gear oil (AT models)” F11-21, Rear differential, · Dexron III” Type Automatic Transmission Fluid.
