The parking brake can be released manually using the emergency brake release procedure. This is may be accompanied by an audible signal and a message in the instrument panel screen. Any fault resulting in the illumination of a warning lamp must be investigated further by reading the associated message in the instrument panel screen.

The distance recorder display line indicates the distance remaining before the next service is due. Illumination of the key is accompanied by a message in the instrument panel screen. Press the steering mounted control to display the various trip computer tabs in succession.
