Precaution for Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) "AIR BAG" "SEAT BELT, the Supplemental Restraint System such as AIR BAG” and SEAT BELT PRE-TENSIONER”, used along, with a front seat belt, helps to reduce the risk or severity of injury to the driver and front passenger certain, to avoid rendering the SRS inoperative, which could increase the risk of personal injury death.
The event of a collision which would result in air bag inflation, all maintenance must be performed by, improper maintenance, including incorrect removal and installation of the SRS, can lead personal, injury caused by unintentional activation of the system, pRECAUTIONS WHEN USING POWER TOOLS (AIR OR ELECTRIC) AND HAMMERS.
When working near the Airbag Diagnosis Sensor Unit or other Airbag System sensors with the Ignition ON or engine running, DO NOT use air or electric power tools or strike near sensor(s) with, when using air or electric power tools or hammers, always switch the Ignition OFF, disconnect, battery and wait at least 3 minutes before performing any service, the actual shapes of Kent-Moore tools may differ from those of special service tools illustrated here.
General maintenance includes those items which should be checked during normal day-to-day operation, checks and inspections themselves or have their NISSAN dealers do them, the maintenance items listed here should be performed from time to time, unless otherwise specified, check the pressure with a gauge often and always prior long distance trips.
Adjust the pressure in all tires, including the spare, pressure specified, check carefully for damage, cuts excessive wear, when checking the tires, make sure no nuts are missing, and check any loose, tires should be rotated every 7,500 miles (12,000 km).
Replace the TPMS transmitter grommet seal, valve core and cap when tires, are replaced due wear age, if the vehicle should pull to either side while driving on a straight level road.
