Precaution Necessary for Steering Wheel Rotation After Battery Disconnect, this Procedure is applied only to models with Intelligent Key system and NATS (NISSAN ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM), remove and install all control units after disconnecting both battery cables with the ignition knob, always use CONSULT to perform self-diagnosis as a part of each function inspection after finishing work.
DTC is detected, perform trouble diagnosis according self-diagnostic results, for models equipped with the Intelligent Key system and NATS, an electrically controlled steering lock mechanism is adopted key cylinder, for this reason, if the battery is disconnected or if the battery is discharged, the steering wheel will lock, steering wheel rotation will become impossible.

Remove heated oxygen sensor using Tool needed, installation is in the reverse order removal, always replace exhaust gaskets with new ones when reassembling, before installing a new heated oxygen sensor, clean and lube the exhaust tube threads using suitable tool.
Discard any heated oxygen sensor which has been dropped from a height of more than 0, in) onto a hard surface such as a concrete floor; install new one, resulting in MIL coming on, if any mounting insulator is badly deformed, repair or replace it.
The mounting insulators, clean inspect them, temporarily tighten the nuts on the exhaust manifold side and the bolts on vehicle side, each part for interference with other components, and then tighten the nuts bolts specification, with the engine running, check exhaust tube joints for exhaust gas leaks unusual noises.
