COMMON ITEM : Diagnosis Description 47, cOMMON ITEM : CONSULT-III Function 47, component Inspection (Front Blower Motor Relay) 63, pOWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT 71.

BCM : Special Repair Requirement 72, iPDM E/R (INTELLIGENT POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE ENGINE ROOM) 72, iPDM E/R (INTELLIGENT POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE ENGINE ROOM) : Diagnosis Procedure 72, pUSH-BUTTON IGNITION SWITCH POSITION INDICATOR 73.

IPDM E/R (INTELLIGENT POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE ENGINE ROOM) 114, get the detailed information from the customer about the symptom (the condition environment when, record DTC and freeze frame data (Print them out with CONSULT-III, study the relationship between the cause detected by DTC and the symptom described by customer.

Is any symptom described any DTC detected, symptom is described, DTC displayed>>GO TO 3, symptom is described, DTC is not displayed>>GO TO 4, symptom is not described, DTC displayed>>GO TO 5.

Confirm the symptom described by customer, connect CONSULT-III to the vehicle in DATA MONITOR” mode and check real time diagnosis results, verify relationship between the symptom and the condition when symptom detected, connect CONSULT-III to the vehicle in DATA MONITOR ” mode and check real time diagnosis results.

Perform DTC Confirmation Procedure for the displayed DTC, and then check that DTC detected again, at this time, always connect CONSULT-III to the vehicle, and check diagnostic results real time, if two or more DTCs are detected, refer to PCS-110, "DTC Inspection Priority Chart" determine trouble, freeze frame data is useful if the DTC not detected.

Perform Component Function Check if DTC Confirmation Procedure is not included Service Manual, simplified check procedure is an effective alternative although DTC cannot be detected during check, if the result of Component Function Check is NG, it is the same as the detection of DTC by DTC Confirmation Procedure, detect malfunctioning system according to PCS-131, "Symptom Table" based on confirmed symptom.

Step and determine the trouble diagnosis order based on possible causes symptom, inspect according to Diagnostic Procedure system, the Diagnostic Procedure described is based on open circuit inspection, required for the circuit check Diagnostic Procedure.

>> Check voltage of related BCM terminals using CONSULT-III, repair or replace malfunctioning part, reconnect parts or connectors disconnected during Diagnostic Procedure again after repair replacement, when DTC was detected in step 2, perform DTC Confirmation Procedure Component Function Check.

Again, and then check that the malfunction have been fully repaired, when symptom was described from the customer, refer to confirmed symptom in step 3 or 4 check that, nO (DTC detected)>>GO TO 8, in auto active test mode, the IPDM E/R sends a drive signal to the following systems check their operation.

Front fog lamps (if equipped), close the hood and lift the wiper arms from the windshield, when auto active test is performed with hood opened, sprinkle water windshield beforehand, when auto active test mode has to be cancelled halfway through test, turn ignition switch OFF.

If auto active test mode cannot be actuated, check door switch system, inspection in Auto Active Test Mode, when auto active test mode is actuated, the following 6 steps repeated 3 times.
