Manual Description
Fuel Pump, Fuel Level Sensor Unit Fuel, the actual shapes of Kent-Moore tools may differ from those of special service tools illustrated here, threads before installing new heated, oxygen sensor (Use with anti-seize lubricant shown below.

Anti-seize lubricant (Permatex 133AR or equivalent meeting MIL specification MIL-A-907), ¼ Check that throttle valve opens when accelerator pedal is fully depressed, to idle position when pedal is released when ignition switch ON” position, ¼ Check accelerator control parts for improper contact with any adjacent parts.

¼ Do not disassemble accelerator pedal or remove/install accelerator pedal position sensor, ¼ Keep accelerator pedal assembly getting wet, install in reverse order removal, check if accelerator pedal moves smoothly within its range.

Check if accelerator pedal returns securely its original position, perform Accelerator Pedal Released Position Learning” when disconnecting the accelerator pedal position sensor harness connector, for electrical inspection of accelerator pedal assembly, refer to EC-669, DTC P2138 APP SENSOR”, when replacing fuel line parts, be sure observe following.

¼ Put a CAUTION: INFLAMMABLE” sign workshop, ¼ Be sure to work in a well ventilated area and furnish workshop with CO2 fire extinguisher, ¼ Do not smoke while servicing fuel system, ¼ Before removing fuel line parts, carry out following procedures.

A) Put drained fuel in an explosion-proof container and put the lid on securely, b) Release fuel pressure from fuel line, ¼ Always replace O-ring and clamps with new ones, ¼ Do not tighten hose clamps excessively avoid damaging hoses.

¼ After installing fuel tubes, run engine and check for fuel leaks connections, a) Apply fuel pressure to fuel lines with turning ignition switch ON (with engine stopped), b) Start the engine and rev it up and check for fuel leaks connections, ¼ Use only a genuine NISSAN fuel filler cap as a replacement.

¼ For inspection and installation of EVAP system parts, refer to EC-37, Evaporative Emission System”, ¼ For inspection and installation of ORVR system parts, refer to EC-43, On Board Refueling Vapor, release fuel pressure fuel line, refer to Fuel Pressure Release”.

¼ The quick connector can be disconnected when push, ¼ Keep clean the connecting portion of tube, disconnect filler hose, vent hose and EVAP hose fuel tank, to install, reverse the removal procedure.

¼ Align mating marks on tubes and connectors correct installation, ¼ Be sure that the connecting portion of the tube quick, ¼ Align push in tabs with retainer openings, ¼ Insert tube into the center of the connector until you hear.

After connecting quick connector, make sure connection, firmly made using following method, ¼ Pull on the fuel tube and connector to make sure they firmly, make sure that there are no leakage at fuel line connections.

¼ Apply fuel pressure to fuel lines with ignition switch turned ON, ¼ Start the engine, increase engine speed verify that there, fuel Pump, Fuel Level Sensor Unit Fuel Filter, remove inspection hole cover located under rear seat.

For disconnection of quick connectors, refer to step 6, pull out the fuel level sensor unit fuel pump, fuel Pump, Fuel Level Sensor Unit Fuel Filter (Cont'd), remove flange of fuel level sensor unit fuel pump.

Using a screwdriver, remove the snap fit portion shown, ¼ Using a screwdriver, remove the snap fit portion shown, install in the reverse order of removal paying attention following.
