Manual Description
Only use the extender provided for you and for the particular vehicle and seat. Never use the seat belt extender in any other vehicle you may own in the future. The sensor may not function properly because the additional seat cushion could cause sensor interference.
Never use one belt for more than one person at a time and always operate the vehicle with each occupant properly restrained. A clicking noise from the retractor will be heard during retraction if the system is in the automatic locking mode. Make sure the seatback is securely latched by pushing it back until it is fully locked.
These indicators are visible in the area where the air bags are installed. The side and curtain air bags and the frontal air bag system will not normally deploy during the same type of accident unless a combination of frontal and side impacts occur. The driver and front passenger air bags inflate with great force and speed.
