Manual Description
If you perform maintenance yourself, be sure to follow the correct procedure as given these sections, funnel (used only adding brake, toyota Super Long Life Coolant”, or similar high-quality ethylene glycol-based non-silicate, non-amine.

Driving with the air cleaner filter removed may cause excessive engine wear due, release the lock from the inside of the vehicle open hood, the hood will pop up slightly, lift the auxiliary catch lever.
Check that the hood is fully closed locked, cause an accident, which may result in death serious injury, when raising your vehicle with a floor jack, position jack correctly, improper placement may damage your vehicle cause injury.
*: Take care when positioning a floor jack, as it is easy mistake, make sure to observe the following to reduce the possibility death serious, l Lift up the vehicle using a floor jack such, always use automotive jack stands on solid, level surface.
L Stop the vehicle on level firm ground, firmly set the parking brake put shift, l Make sure to set the floor jack properly jack point, raising the vehicle with an improperly positioned floor jack will damage the vehicle and may cause the vehicle to fall off floor jack, l When raising the vehicle, do not place any objects on top underneath.
N Removing engine compartment cover, allow the center part clip, *: Push it down as far it will go, *: Using a tool, turn the nut until the engine compartment cover can be.
With the engine at operating temperature and turned off, check oil, sTEP Park the vehicle on level ground, hold a rag under end pull, holding a rag under the end, pull the dipstick out check.
Wipe the dipstick reinsert it fully, low level mark, add engine oil, make sure to check the oil type and prepare items needed before, remove the oil filler cap by turning it counterclockwise.
Add engine oil slowly, checking dipstick, install the oil filler cap by turning it clockwise, some oil containers are labeled with ILSAC certification marks that, help you to select proper oil.
L The amount of engine oil consumed depends on the oil viscosity, quality, l More oil is consumed under driving conditions such as high speeds fre, l A new engine consumes more oil.
