After finishing work, confirm that all control unit connectors are connected properly, then re-connect both, always use CONSULT-III to perform self-diagnosis as a part of each function inspection after finishing work, for vehicle with steering lock unit, if the battery is disconnected or discharged, the steering wheel will lock, if turning the steering wheel is required with the battery disconnected or discharged, follow the operation procedure below before starting repair operation.
Supply power using jumper cables battery discharged, turn the push-button ignition switch ACC position, (At this time, the steering lock will be released, when the repair work is completed, re-connect both battery cables.
The push-button ignition switch from ACC position to ON position, then to LOCK position, wheel will lock when the push-button ignition switch is turned LOCK position, perform self-diagnosis check of all control units using CONSULT-III, removing ball joint steering knuckle.

Move wheel hub and bearing assembly in the axial direction by hand, rotate wheel hub and bearing assembly and make sure that is no unusual noise or other irregular conditions, refer to "Components" for symbols figure, remove wheel sensor and sensor harness.
Never pull wheel sensor harness, "BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY (2 PISTON TYPE) : Removal and Installation" (2 piston type), "BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY (4 PISTON TYPE) : Removal and Installation" (4 piston type), never depress brake pedal while brake caliper removed.
Put matching marks on the wheel hub and bearing assembly and the disc rotor before removing, temporarily tighten the nut to prevent damage to threads and to prevent ball joint remover, never damage ball joint boot, note the following, and install in the reverse order removal.
Align the matching marks that have been made during removal when reusing disc rotor, perform the final tightening of each of parts under unladen conditions, which were removed when removing, wheel hub and bearing assembly steering knuckle, check components for deformation, cracks, and other damage.
Check boots of transverse link, upper link, and steering outer socket ball joint for breakage, axial play, check wheel sensor harness for proper connection, adjust neutral position of steering angle sensor, sERVICE DATA AND SPECIFICATIONS (SDS).
