NOISE, VIBRATION AND HARSHNESS (NVH) TROUBLESHOOTING, refer to REAR AXLE chart, refer to DRIVE SHAFT chart, use chart below to find the cause of the symptom.
Observe the following precautions when disassembling assembling drive shaft, never disassemble joint sub-assembly because it non-overhaul parts, perform work in a location which is dust-free possible, clean the parts, before disassembling assembling.
Prevent the entry of foreign objects during disassembly service location, reassemble disassembled parts carefully in the correct order, clean disassembled parts (except for rubber parts) with kerosene which shall be removed by blowing with, air or wiping with paper waste.
The actual shapes of Kent-Moore tools may differ from those of special service tools illustrated here, removing ball joint axle housing, remove drive shaft joint sub assembly, rEAR WHEEL HUB AND HOUSING.
Make sure the mounting conditions (looseness, back lash) of each component component conditions, move wheel hub and bearing assembly in the axial direction by hand, rotate wheel hub, and make sure there is no unusual noise or other irregular conditions, irregular conditions, replace wheel hub bearing assembly.
Check drive shaft mounting point and joint for looseness other damage, check boot for cracks other damage, replace entire drive shaft assembly when noise or vibration occurs drive shaft, refer to "Components" for symbols figure.

Remove cotter pin and adjusting cap, then loosen wheel hub lock nut with power tool, put matching mark (A) on drive shaft and wheel hub bearing, use paint or similar substance matching marks, patch wheel hub lock nut with a piece wood.
Wood to disengage wheel hub and bearing assembly drive, never place drive shaft joint at an extreme angle, careful not overextend slide joint, never allow drive shaft to hang down without support.
Counterpart such as joint sub-assembly, other parts, use a suitable puller, if wheel hub bearing assembly, drive shaft cannot be separated even after performing above, remove parking brake shoe and parking brake cable from back plate.
Remove stabilizer connecting rod (upper side) with power tool, set suitable jack under axle housing, remove shock absorber (lower side) with power tool, separate suspension arm from axle housing so as not to damage ball joint boot using ball joint remover.
(commercial service tool), and then remove axle housing vehicle, temporarily tighten nuts to prevent damage to threads and to prevent the ball joint remover, never allow drive shaft to hang down without support for counterpart such as joint sub-assembly, other parts, remove front lower link (axle housing side).
Remove rear lower link (axle housing side), remove wheel hub bearing assembly, remove anchor block mounting nuts, and then remove anchor block and back plate axle housing.
